Using the IPQualityScore fraud detection API, you can block proxy or VPN connections and adjust scoring settings to prevent fraudulent activities in real-time, before they cause damage. IPQS maintains current data directly from carriers on a global basis so you can have confidence that the results are accurate.
To connect to this API, click the + icon to create a new connection or edit an existing one. Enter your IPQS API Key in the field and select an action to take when a response is received. This is either Send to Fail Traffic or Blocked depending on the Offer settings.
You can use the JSON parameter list to add variables that will be templatize for your integration, including a ‘when score above’ trigger point. This is a very useful feature to use for integrating with other APIs that require you to pass in specific values. For example, you can add a ‘user language’ parameter to the lookup to avoid false positives for certain proxies.
